Our story shapes every system we build

Every standard
has an origin

Before there was a company, there was a craftsman. Juan de Dios Yerena began building custom steelwork with a simple belief: If something is worth building, it's worth building well.

That belief continues to guide
everything we do today

A craft became a company. The purpose remained the same.

In 2002, YERENA Iron Doors was founded to create custom steel doors that combined precision, durability and timeless design.

The company was new. The standard behind the work was not.

Growing
Beyond Doors

What began with custom steel doors gradually expanded into something much larger.
As each project presented new challenges, our capabilities evolved alongside them—from windows and larger architectural openings to complete steel window and door systems.
Every new project became another step in refining what we could build.

A new chapter was taking shape

Before the move, there was a vision.

Not simply to build a larger facility—but to create a place capable of supporting the company we were becoming.

The building came first.
The next chapter followed.

Built under one roof

In 2022, YERENA moved its entire operation into a new purpose-built manufacturing facility.
It was more than a change of location. It brought engineering, fabrication, finishing and project coordination together under one roof—giving us greater control over every stage of the work.
A larger facility gave us more capacity. A more integrated process gave us greater consistency.

A new identity for a more Engineered Company

The new identity reflected a company that had moved beyond ornamental ironwork.

As openings became larger and profiles became slimmer, engineering became increasingly important to achieving strength without compromising design.

Craftsmanship remained at the foundation. But structural performance, precision and architectural systems were defining the company’s future.

The identity evolved because the company had evolved

Engineering
Before Fabrication

Four people standing inside a shipping container, smiling and posing for the photo. They are dressed casually, with two women on the ends and two men in the middle.

Every project begins long before steel is cut. It begins with questions, drawings, calculations and coordination.

Because every millimeter resolved on paper becomes precision built into the finished system.

The people behind every project

Every system is the result of people working across disciplines toward one shared standard.

Engineers, draftsmen, fabricators, welders, finishing specialists coordinators each contribute to the final result.

Building
Better Systems

As architecture evolves, so do the demands placed on every opening. Larger glass, slimmer profiles and changing climates require more than craftsmanship alone. They require structural performance, thermal efficiency and engineering precision.

From galvanized steel systems to thermally broken profiles, every new capability reflects the same principle we have followed since the beginning: keep improving the way we build.

Every Component Matters

A high-performance opening is never defined by steel alone. Glass, hardware, seals and structural components must work together as one complete system.

Every element is selected and coordinated according to the project's design, scale and performance requirements.

The Next Evolution

YERENA STEEL is not a new beginning.

It is the result of everything that came before: decades of craftsmanship, engineering and continuous improvement brought together under one vision.
